What is nino de praga?

Nino de Praga, also known as Infant Jesus of Prague, is a popular statue of infant Jesus that is located in Prague, Czech Republic. It is a wooden statue that stands at around 47 cm tall and is dressed in a royal robe. The statue is believed to have originated in Spain in the 16th century but was later gifted to the Carmelite Order by the Spanish noblewoman, Maria Manriquez de Lara, in 1628. The statue is considered to be a symbol of grace and protection and is venerated by many Catholics around the world. The feast day of Nino de Praga is celebrated on 14th January.
